Caleb's 9 Week Checkup

Today Caleb had a doctor's appointment. We've really been looking forward to this appointment to see how he's been doing. He is up to 8 lbs. 12.5 oz. which means he's gained just a little over 0.5 ounces per day since his last appointment. The doctor said 0.5 ounces per day would be ideal so he's doing really well! He's been put on a new medication for his acid reflux (a baby version of Zantac). He'll take a smaller dose 2 times per day rather than the 1 large dose per day we were doing before. We're hoping that regulates the reflux a little better and maybe he'll be a little happier and more comfortable. He also got some of his vaccinations today. He actually cried more this morning before the appointment when we changed his diaper than when he got the shots (but I still couldn't watch the shots!).
