Birthday Weekend

Last weekend our little bug turned a year old! It's hard to believe it's gone by so fast, just like people always tell you. We had a birthday celebration here at the house with friends and family. For us, it wasn't just a celebration for Caleb but for everyone there (and those that couldn't make it) who has loved us, supported us, prayed for us and cared for us in one way or another during the pregnancy and Caleb's first year of life. We had a great time with everyone doing the things that happen at a birthday, eating cake, opening presents and celebrating!

This past year has been filled with joy as we've watched Caleb grow and develop into the sweet little boy he is today. He loves to explore and he's always on the go. We love playing with him, making him laugh, and just observing him as he goes around the house checking everything out. It seems like every day he does something new and it's so fun to watch him learn and develop more of a personality. We also had some rough times his first few months of life when he had acid reflux, wasn't gaining weight, and I was still having physical issues after his delivery. Thanks to everyone who got us through the difficult times and celebrated the good times with us! We are so blessed to have you all be a part of our lives.

At Caleb's 1 year doctor's appointment, he was 23.5 lbs. and 30.5" long. Perfectly healthy and doing great!

Below are some photos from our birthday weekend:

Tasty!
Messy! My hands feel icky and I don't like it (that's my boy!).
