Family Vacation + Bonus Photos

Lately one of Caleb's favorite activities is just looking out the window. Our friends have two dogs and the neighbor across the street has a little white dog and he's always very interested in them. This morning we were looking out the window when a person walking a dog went by and Caleb yelled "GOG GOG GOG!!". He sometimes actually says "dog" but it's usually do do do, or gog gog gog. It's funny that would be his first word besides mama and dada that he says without prompting since we don't even have a dog!

This past weekend we traveled to Sauder Village in Ohio for a reunion with the Jaracz family. We all had a great time and Caleb did fairly well staying in a hotel for the first time. He got to go swimming in a real pool for the first time. He seemed a little nervous at first but once he got to borrow his cousin's pink floatie racecar he was much more at ease. He also enjoyed the tissue box that was built into the sink at his eye level. If we took our eyes off of him for a moment he'd scoot over there and start pulling tissues out as fast as his little arms would go. He also enjoyed the hotel mini-refrigerator that he was allowed to open and look around in for unlimited amounts of time. He also liked sitting in the Caleb-sized hotel sink.
